Mourning the Death of the Path...

We are the product of our path though the universe. The sum total of the life we have lived to each moment. The stream of events and interactions of our entity with the universe. We are confronted with little decisions every moment, one could say that life is a continuous decision. The persistent choice. These little decisions lead to other little decisions leading to others and so on. Our path started before we were conceived and the effects of our path will linger on even after our bodies have dissolved. We are sensory creatures, we experience the world around us with limited capabilities. Our eyes only detect a certain wavelength of radiant energy. Our ears only tell our brain about a certain range frequencies. Our touch has a minimum resolution. Then we have a range of detection of events, we only can know what we can bring into our minds from the sensory systems. You tell me something, but you are on the moon, odds are I won't hear it. The Dark Side...

Do we dare say that the moon is two pieces? The light part and the dark part? To do so would make a person look to be a fool. Everyone knows that the Moon is one entity and it's relationship to the light that creates the apparent division. We look at our self and see two (or more) parts, separate pieces that stand alone, a light side and a dark side, the funny and the serious, the virgin and the whore. The truth is that the division is just an illusion, a construct of our unwillingness to intergrate it all into one. It is a trick of the light of our minds. Also powerful, is the reinforcement for this behavior we get from society. Only acceptable if we act not as we truly are, but only what the time and place will allow us to be without pain of punishment in all its ugly forms. What would happen if we saw everything as it is... One complete and undivided unity of energy. With little ripples and eddies that make up more influential parts of space in time. We are a swirlin...

A poem...

Let there be light... That was a joke, below is the verse. Cut Off and Back Again, a thumb-tip's tale... I cut off the very tip of my left thumb tonight. It did not hurt as much as I would have expected. I figuratively cut off a piece of my heart once, and that hurt soul deep. I AM... that is the truth, it seems I always have been since time began. Sure, maybe not in this current form, this monster organic machine I call "me". But, connected to it since there was "it" to connect to... spread out over time and space.
